Description:
Up for is a collector grade Carcano M 91/38 Carbine circa 1942. Gardone Val Trompia was the maker it is marked “GARDONE VT” on top of the receiver. Has no import mark. Date mark “942-XX” on the right-side receiver. Left side is marked “SI-92” the same mark is on the buttstock. The barrel and receiver retains 90-95% of factory blued finish. The bore is very bright with good rifling. The trigger guard and fixed magazine exhibit some bluing ware. The stock is in excellent shape with very strong cartouche marks no cracks and original finish. Folding stock is present. These rifles are often found mutilated this is not. All in all collector grade rifle that you will proud to have in your collection.
