Description:
Vintage Remington 700 ADL Deluxe chambered in the potent and desirable 22-250 Remington cartridge. This rifle was produced in April of 1965 and features a standard weight 24" barrel, early short bolt shroud, early double sear trigger with "tombstone" safety. These early features and 6 digit serial number would make this rifle a great base rifle for a USMC M40 sniper rifle build, or use it the way it is. The original blue finish is very nice with the exception of a small area of light pitting near the muzzle. The bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling. All functions work as they should, and the stock is solid with no major dings, dents, cracks, or repairs. A very cool vintage rifle in a desirable configuration.
