Description:
This Colt M1911 A1 was made in 1944. The barrel bushing and barrel are National Match marked. The trigger and hammed are jeweled. The standard sights have been replaced with higher front and rear sights. The slide is a gloss blue commercial finish as is the frame. The grips are correct brown synthetic with a ring around the screw holes. The pistol have what look like British proofs on the slide and frame (crown over CP) along with Springfield cross cannons (thin) 35 on the right front of the trigger guard, triangle stamp on the left side G.H.D inspector stamp and a P. The pistol has been polished and re-blued with a high polish blue. This is a good pistol for the money.
