Description:

Dahlgren Bayonet for Navy Plymouth Rifle. Dated 1864 and U.S.N. marked on ricasso with “D.R.” inspector marks. Comes in the original sheath. Sheath is in excellent condition. The blade and hilt are perfect. Opposite side of ricasso marked Ames Mfg. Co. Chicopee, Mass. This is as good as it gets for an Ames Dahlgren, slotted for the Plymouth rifle.
