CARVED, ENGRAVED Antique SxS Percussion Shotgun
Featuring an Elaborately Carved Stock
Here we present an antique Double Barrel Percussion Shotgun, made circa the 1850s. This gun features two .69 caliber smooth bores and an elaborately carved stock. The left side of the butt stock is carved with trees and a bounding elk. The trigger guard is a separate piece of carved wood. The back action locks and hammers are engraved as well.
The overall condition is good. The metal surfaces are dark with age. The stock is in good shape. The bores are smooth and dark. The action on this shotgun is functioning.
