Description:
This is a unique opportunity to purchase an historic firearm. This Best Quality clamshell double rifle in 8X57J was made between 1912 and 1916 and bears a Royal monogram, as shown in the photos. It functions flawlessly and has double triggers...both set, extractors, generous game scene engraving, bullet trap in stock, gold inlays, original Skopar scope and claw mounts, original fitted maker's case makers name inside and royal monogram on the German silver exterion plate, original sling, original cleaning rod with hand-filed jag and walnut exterior over brass rods. The case is in excellent condition.

P Reeb was House Gunmaker to Prussian Crown Prince Frederick Wilhelm III, son of Kaiser Wilhelm II and heir to the throne, had Germany won WW I. This appears to have been made for a royal from the Prussian Royal House of Hohenzollern.

The gun is in very good overall condition and is a true collector's item. It's unusual to find a gun of this quality and with maker's case, etc.
