Description:
This is an example of a German Walther PP manufactured in 1962, chambered for .22 LR. The left of the slide is marked with the Walther banner next to "Carl Walther Waffenfabrik Ulm/Do. / Model PP Cal.-22Lr" with an "eagle / N" proof. The right side of the chamber is marked with an "eagle / N" proof mark, "62", and an antler proof. The right side of the frame behind the trigger is marked "22337 LR" next to a German proof mark and another struck out marking. The left side bottom mag well is marked " SIMPSON LTD G'BURG ILL".The front sight is a low-profile blade that is integral to the slide. The rear sight is a U-notch dovetailed into the slide. The top of the slide has a serrated rib to reduce glare. The grips are two-piece checkered black plastic with a Walther banner logo at the top of each panel. This gun is in excellent condition and appears unused. Comes with a walther hard case and a single magazine. .22 Long Rifle
