Lovely complete rig here. The holster is very solid, no crack/crazing, no broken thread or loose/separating edges. Very strong, all original. WaA383 and P38 marked. 0/0836 over 0029 over the left side belt loop. Both magazines marked with a single Eagle over 359 high on the spine. Also P.38v on the side. Both similarly marked with the same spacing and depth. Pistol is an excellent example of the breed, unusual in that it has a single eagle over 359 on the side of the slide in addition to the eagle over N. So this commercial pistol was moved over to military production/issue. Also fitted with the standard military type grips. I read somewhere that about 20-30% of this serial number range was done in this way. Slide legend is clear, just poor lighting, all numbers match, frame, barrel and locking block.In any event, this is a very nice example, with a mint bore, from a very picky collector who is downsizing. $75 shipping to the lower 48, 3% surcharge for using a CC.
