Synopsis: Incredible Walther P38, Armorer Assembled, Parts Gun Description: This is an interesting late war/postwar P38 assembled with original finish parts from each of the manufacturers. The plum frame is Walther/AC marked and proofed; the slide comes from Mauser and dated “44”; while the barrel was made by Spreewerke marked “cyq”. None of the parts carries a serial number, the takedown lever is a homemade replacement as is the magazine catch that may have started as a solid forging but clearly hand finished. Fitted with original black plastic grips and a standard “P38” Mauser magazine, spine marked “E/WaA135” Condition: 97-98% bright original finish with some spotting on the frontstrap as imaged. Non-factory takedown pin and hand modified magazine retainer. Excellent grips. Near mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics, though NOT SAFE TO FIRE as takedown lever not secure. ~~Insured shipping fee of $65; most packages shipped using FedEx 2nd Day.~~
