Description:
The Roth-Steyr M1907 was the first semi-automatic pistol adapted by a major world power, Austro-Hungary, pre-World War I. It remained in use by other Country’s through World War II.
 
The pistol was produced at Waffenfabrik- Steyr, a high-quality piece which proved to be very reliable, albeit a bit complicated to reload in battle.
 
With its angled grip design, it presented a natural point and shoot stance, similar to Georg Luger’s soon to be adopted  P.08 “Luger”.
 
The M07 weighs 2 lbs 4 oz empty, having a length of 9.1”. The barrel is 5.1” and fires an 8mm diameter cartridge producing a muzzle velocity of 1100 fps.
 
Featuring a built-into the grip, ten round box magazine, it is loaded from the top with the aid of stripper clips, much like Mauser's C96 "Broomhandle" machine pistol.
 
This piece shows light silvering along the barrels left side, at the front of trigger guard and to the high edges of the receiver. The internals are brightly polished, as new, with no fouling or signs of wear.
Grips are near excellent, with little wear or flattened areas.
Has a loaded chamber indicator, incorporated lanyard loop at the butt and a small “beaver tail” at the top of the grip.
A V notch fixed rear sight with a windage adjustable front sight.
 
There is no pitting nor rust and no damage to the piece.
The bore is bright with strong lands and grooves.
 
This is  an excellent, numbers matching and all original example of the M1907 Steyr 8mm pistol.

Modern firearms must be transferred through a licensed FFL dealer in your area. A C&R license is acceptable for C&R firearms only (guns determined to be C&R eligible by ATF and/or guns known to be at least 50 years old).
New York Residents: Handguns cannot be shipped directly to a C&R holder in the State of New York and must be transferred through your local dealer.
Antique firearms require the buyer to supply proof of age. Some areas may require an FFL transfer for antique & black powder firearms (New Jersey, NYC, etc.)
