Description: J. STEVENS ARMS Co. DIAMOND No. 43 Single Shot .22 Cal. Rimfire C&R PISTOL Light & Handy .22 LR with 10 Inch Barrel Here we present a C&R J. Stevens Arms Company Diamond No. 43 Single Shot .22 Caliber Pistol, made circa 1910. This pistol was the second edition of one the company produced beginning in 1886. It features a single shot of .22 Rimfire LR, tip-up barrel, a built-in extractor, and single action. Pressing the button on the left side opens the action. This pistol was intended for a very small, very simple target or plinking gun in the early 20th Century. Its small size and simplicity also make it a great teaching tool for children. The overall condition is excellent. The action is strong and tight. The bore is bright with sharp rifling. Both, the finish on the frame and barrel, have over 80% remaining. Here we have a small pistol from Stevens that will make a large impact on a collection! This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Barrel is 10 inches.
