This Star 9mm pistol was made in Spain. The proof marks indicate is was manufactured in 1952 and passed proof house at Eibar. The serial number is: 394737. The last three digits appear on the slide release, safety, barrel bushing and barrel. The entire serial number appears on the slide and the butt of the grip. The slide is marked as a 9mm (the chamber hood of the barrel is marked as Cal.08). This is a 9mm pistol.

Overall condition of this pistol is very good. A concern I have is this pistol may have been re-parkerized. The colors of most Star pistols I‚‚m finding pictures of are gun metal blue. The color of this pistol is grey. There is wear on the slide (similar to holter wear) and some rust on the grip. Two original STAR magazines included. I have rated this at approximately 80% condition (the color possobly not being original kept me from rating it higher)
