Smith & Wesson Model 539 Nickel 9MM MFG. 1982 **Scarce** SOLD

Description:
Smith & Wesson Model 539 chambered in 9mm Parabellum. This pistol is a traditional double action, steel frame and steel slide version of the model 439. This model featured an (8) round magazine capacity, blue or nickel finish, adjustable rear sight, short extractor and checkered walnut grips. Models 539's are scarce as only around 8159 total were produced. Of those 8159 manufactured, only approximately 1975 total were made with nickel finish, making this a hard to find model for any 2nd Gen. Smith & Wesson auto collectors. We have test fired this pistol and it works perfectly. The double action pull is light and smooth, the single action is crisp and breaks cleanly. The pistol shows some light carry marks near the muzzle, but overall is very clean. Includes (1) factory 8-round magazine. Sorry no box or paper-work.
