Description: ***SOLD*** Smith & Wesson Model 1006 10mm Auto semi automatic pistol, manufactured 1990-1993. This pistol is a rather rare find, with only 26,979 units manufactured in three years of production. Designed for, and used by the FBI in the early 1990's, agents found it to be very powerful and somewhat large for their purposes. The pistol features a full sized solid stainless steel construction, checkered polymer grips, and a class S&W hammer-fired DA/SA action with ambidextrous safety/decocker. The rear sight is adjustable as well. The pistol is in excellent overall condition with some signs of light use, as shown. The action is smooth and the bore looks great. Includes two 9rd magazines. Ideal choice for bear country if you prefer a flat, powerful 8 shot semiauto instead of a six shot revolver. Please refer to the photos prior to purchase.
