A very unique prohibition era S&W Five-screw 1905 M&P Fitz Special .38.

Out of a prominent collection, a stunning example of a period conversion, meticulously preserved.
This piece has been disassembled, inspected and underwent a thorough cleaning and lubricating. Lastly, a soft finishing polish and it looks like new. It shows no high edge wear, drag-line, or tooled screw heads. The cylinder in certain light is turning to a plum patina.

The checkered walnut, diamond service grips are exceptionally fine, and in perfect condition. They have been lightly cleaned with the gold medallions left as they were, exhibiting a fine aged patina.

The barrel is bright with deep lands and grooves, as are the cylinder chambers, equally bright. The timing and lock-up of this piece function perfectly.

Modern firearms must be transferred through a licensed FFL dealer in your area. A C&R license is acceptable for C&R firearms only (guns determined to be C&R eligible by ATF and/or guns known to be at least 50 years old).
New York Residents: Handguns cannot be shipped directly to a C&R holder in the State of New York and must be transferred through your local dealer.
Antique firearms require the buyer to supply proof of age. Some areas may require an FFL transfer for antique & black powder firearms (New Jersey, NYC, etc.)
