Sig Sauer P229 Compact Semi-Automatic, 9mm Pistol
Description: Sig Sauer P229 Compact semi-automatic, 9mm pistol with the following: Features - Single Action / Double Action - Aluminum frame - Gravel textured grips - Nitron finish - Takedown lever - Decocking lever - Fixed dovetail front and rear sights; both are drift adjustable - Under-barrel accessory rail - Overall Length: 7 ¼ inches - Barrel length: 3 ½ inches (including chamber) - Width: 1 ¼ inch (including grips) - Height: 5 ¼ inches (including sights) - Weight (with unloaded magazine): 1 pound, 14.7 ounces (30.7 ounces) Accessories: Three 13-round magazines (total). One Blackhawk black plastic paddle holster with single release button. There are no box, papers, or other accessories with this gun. The overall condition of this gun is 98 percent. The pistol is clean and well cared for. There are a number of very small nicks to the Nitron finish showing bare metal (observable in photos). The chamber exterior, decocking lever, and slide release shows handling wear. Otherwise, there are no blemishes, mars, stains, or other damage anywhere else on the gun. Gravel textured black grip panel are practically perfect. The bore is clean, bright, and shiny. I am not sure of the date of manufacture of the gun. I believe it to be about 2011 or 2012. It was used for training and has been in storage since 2015. I believe it has several thousand rounds fired through it. It has been very well maintained. The photos are high resolution, so zoom to see details. Contact me for additional photos of any area you would like to see or see better. The buyer pays $25 USPS Priority Mail and $9.05 actual insurance cost. The fastest way to get this gun is to pay with a USPS (U.S. Postal Service) money order, as it is like cash, and I don’t have to wait for it to clear. However, I will accept a personal check or another type money order, but I will hold the gun until it clears my bank. Check or money orders must be made out to Jerry Pownall or Barboursville Arms.
