New in the box, 30 ounces of German and Swiss tactical perfection, the Sig Sauer P229 was introduced in 1992 as a improved variation of the fabled P226/P228 pistols. It is configured as a compact firearm with a 3.75" barrel and used for duty and personal protection. With an aluminum frame and a stainless steel slide finished in Sig Sauer's tough Nitron finish, these guns are rugged and dependable, evidenced by their adoption by many security and armed forces throughout the world. This P229 operates on the DA/SA system with an initial trigger pull on double action of 10lb thereafter a single action pull of 4.5lb.  It is equipped with a decocking lever, which safely returns the hammer to its double action position once shooting has stopped.

Double stacked, wearing handsome Rosewood grip panels and topped with Tritium three dot sights, this Sig Sauer is dressed for any occasion.
