39oz of German and Swiss tactical perfection, the Sig Sauer P229 was introduced in 1992 as a improved variation of the fabled P226/P228 pistols. It is configured as a compact firearm with a 3.9" barrel and is used for duty and personal protection. With an aluminum frame and a stainless steel slide finished in Sig Sauer's tough PVD finish these guns are rugged and dependable, evidenced by their adoption by many security and armed forces throughout the world. The P229 Enhanced Elite Compact builds on the exceptional reputation of Sig's out-of-the-box accuracy with the addition of Sig’s Short Reset Trigger or SRT. The SRT provides the same great safety and smooth action of the SIG DA/SA system with a short quick reset for faster follow up shots. The pistol has a smooth initial trigger pull on double action of 9.9lb and thereafter a crisp single action pull of 3.6lb. It is equipped with a decocking lever which safely returns the hammer to its double action position once shooting has stopped.

Double stacked and wearing handsome Rosewood grip panels and topped with SigLite three dot sights, this Sig Sauer is dressed for any occasion.
