Standard configuration SIG SAUER P225 with drift adjustable front and rear night sights. Left side of slide marked with the Bern canton, followed by “SIG SAUER” . The right side is marked with the model along with “Montage Suisse” (meaning assembled in Switzerland). The exposed barrel hood is marked 9mm Para followed by the Swiss proofing repeated on the forward slide. The full serial number is on the right side of the slide, the right side of the frame, and the left side of the barrel hood (not shown). Fitted with two piece black plastic checkered grips. Single column magazine with seven indicator holes. Synopsis: Seldom encountered Sig Sauer P225, made in Switzerland expressly for the Swiss Police, this example marked for the Bern Police, with standard sights and bottom mag release. Condition: Virtually new, it would be nearly impossible to improve on this example unless NIB! Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics.
