Synopsis: Super Early SIG SAUER, P220 125th Commemorative Pistol, Presentation Case, JP020, FB01024 Description: This extremely early SIG Sauer P220, 9mmP, made in Switzerland, has all the earliest features to include folded slide, white highlighted sights, and bottom magazine release. Left side of slide marked for the manufacturer and 125th year commemorative 1853-1978. Right side of the barrel is marked with the caliber. Right side of slide marked with the model, "MONTAGE SUISSE", translates to assembled in Switzerland, and serial number JP020, this being the 20th Commemorative assembled. Swiss proofs BP proofs on the right side of the barrel and forward slide. Major components matte blued finish. Gold highlighting on left side of slide and gold plated hammer, slide release, decocker, and trigger. Laser carved grips. Correct SIG Sauer magazine with 8 indicator holes and zippered back. Pistol fitted in elaborate walnut presentation case with glass protected partition of pistol and commemorative plaque, earliest instruction booklet, correct key. Condition: AS NEW, with age related tarnish on some of the brass hinges and a rare tiny handling mark on the wood presentation case. The pistol looks absolutely new. Mirror bore.
