Additional features include a stainless steel slide and frame with satin finish, 4.25-inch barrel (ODI logo on hood), Commander-style hammer, serrated front strap, semi-beavertail grip safety, checkered rubber mainspring housing, Colt grips and a Wilson magazine. ORIGINATION: Consigned by the estate of a retired firearms industry design engineer. RARITY: Total production is thought to be in the low hundreds. CONDITION: The bore is strong. Mechanics operate properly (a tight grip is necessary as the grip safety must be fully depressed). Metal finish is approximately 80 percent with spots of tarnish on the plate and frame (right side at the rail). The price is firm. $1,250 plus shipping.
