SAVAGE Model 1907 .32 ACP Cal SELF DEFENSE Exposed Hammer POCKET Pistol C&R VERY NICE Semi-Automatic Pistol Made Circa 1910
Description: SAVAGE Model 1907 .32 ACP Cal SELF DEFENSE Exposed Hammer POCKET Pistol C&R VERY NICE Semi-Automatic Pistol Made Circa 1910 Here we present a Savage Model 1907 Pocket Pistol, made circa 1910 in Utica, New York. The Savage Model 1907 is a semi-automatic pocket pistol produced by the Savage Arms, from 1907 until 1920. Beginning in 1907 it was chambered in .32 ACP and, from 1913 until 1920, in .380 ACP. Although smaller in size, it is derived from the .45 semi-automatic pistol Savage submitted to the 1906-1911 U.S. Army trials to choose a new semi-automatic sidearm. After several years of testing the Savage pistol was one of two finalists but ultimately lost to the Colt entry, which became famous as the Colt Model 1911. In the early 20th Century, Savage was Colt’s primary competition for semi-automatics and this Model 1907 was a best seller. This is a nice example of Savage’s top-selling semi-automatic pistol. It features the exposed hammer and an impressive 10-shot magazine. It is a very nice size for concealed carry and self-defense. Corners are nicely melted and the total weight with an empty magazine is only a little over 19 ounces. The hard rubber grips feature the trademark Indian Chief. The overall condition is good. This example is nicely refinished. Bright, sharply rifled bore. legible markings throughout. Both “SAVAGE QUALITY” grips are in fine shape with little handing wear. This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Barrel is 3-3/4 inches. Caliber: 7.65mm Overall condition as seen in photos. Very Fast. Very Safe. FREE SHIPPING. Will need to be sent to your local FFL or C&R licensee. This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Guaranteed AUTHENTIC & Includes CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY. ancestryguns $1050 #230535 SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes |
