The Model 1913 was manufactured by J.P. Sauer from 1913 to 1930. This 7.65mm (32ACP) gun is a second variation without the magazine safety. The 3"" barrel has an excellent bore with bright, strong rifling. The gun has approx. 90% blue with fading along the slide and on the grip straps. The top of the slide is marked J.P. SAUER & SOHN, SUHL. followed by the Sauer standing man logo. The left side of the slide is marked PATENT and the right CAL. 7.65. The frame and takedown knob have the German commercial crown over N proof mark. The checkered hard rubber grips, with the S&S logo at the top, are excellent with no cracks or chips. The magazine is marked S&S 7.65. The action functions correctly. This is a nice example of a second variation Sauer Model 1913.
