2000 Vintage Customized Ruger Mark II Two-Tone .22 Caliber Target Pistol ** Precision Tack-Driver! ** SOLD

Description:
This is a fully-customized .22 caliber Ruger Mark II Target pistol in a two-tone configuration.  This pistol comes from the estate of a die-hard target shooter who put all the best parts that he could find in his target pistols and did not own anything that wouldn't shoot lights-out.  We are sure that this Ruger is no exception.  It started life as a Ruger Mark II Target pistol maufactured in 2000 with a 5.25" inch bull barrel and adjustable target sights.  Whether it came from the factory as a two-tone or whether he built it as a two-tone we do not know.  It has been customized/accurized by the addition of a weighted muzzle brake to aid in holding it steady and reduce muzzle-flip when firing, an extended slide stop lever has been installed to quickly and easily drop the bolt on reloads, a Weaver optics rail has been added for the addition of optics or a red dot sight, and finally the trigger has been replaced and with a slick-faced lightwieght stainless model with adjustable over-travel.  The pistols action has been hand-tuned to be extremely slick and the trigger has been hand-fit and tuned for a crisp and light trigger pull.  A set of black rubber wrap-around Hogue finger groove grips were also added but the original grips were installed for pictures.  This pistol will come with both sets of grips.  As you can see from the pictures, this pistol was carried afield and shows various handling marks and finish wear.  The prior owner was more worried about how they shot and not about keeping the finish pristine.  The bore is in excellent condition and is mirror-bright.  The rifling still shows sharp lands and grooves and there is no visible erosion or imperfections.  The action and all of the controls on this Ruger are in perfect working order, and we have no doubt that it will function reliably and be capable of superb accuracy.  It comes with one factory 10-round single-stack magazine in perfect working order.  If you have been looking for a super accurate yet affordable semi-auto rimfire target pistol that you can carry afield without worry, this cool two-tone customized Ruger Mark II Target pistol would be a great choice.
