Description:
Here we have a Ruger Mk II 22/45 semi auto rimfire target pistol in .22 long rifle. The 22/45 was designed by Ruger to approximate the grip angle of the classic 1911 Government pistol. This particular example is in very good condition with very slight handling marks. Rear sight is fixed. The 4 3/4" tapered barrel has a bright bore with strong rifling. At some point a previous owner dabbed some red nail polish on the rear of the front sight. The lightweight polymer frame is grooved on either side of the grip for positive grip. The stainless steel "upper" is in very good condition showing only light handling marks. Because of the way the Ruger Mk series is made the upper contains enough fire control parts that it is the serialized part....not the lower frame. This fine Ruger would make a great range toy or all weather plinker to carry while going walkabout.
