Presented here is a classic full size Remington R1S 1911 Semi Auto Pistol Chambered in .45 auto caliber. This pistol is in mint condition and honestly appears to be in unfired condition. The iconic full size 1911 with a 5 inch barrel is a pistol that belongs in the collection of every serious shooter. The slide to frame fit is very good and tight. The action appears to have not been cycled at all. The pistol has mil-spec style trigger, grip safety, hammer and thumb safety. Both the front and rear sights are dovetailed into the top of the slide. Being unfired in all likelihood there are obviously no "dummy marks" on the left side ot the frame. The attractive wood grip panels feature the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation logo and branding. The guide rod is of the GI style and as such does not require any tools for takedown. This fine Remington collectable R1S 1911 would make a great addition to a collection or a strong start to a new collection. The original box, paperwork, and (2) 7 shot magazines are provided with the pistol.
