RADOM ~ VIS 35 ~ 9mm LUGER
Description: The development of the Radom Model 35 actually began in the late 20s. The pistol was based upon the Colt 1911 as the designers felt it was the best pistol on the market. The parts are not interchangeable, but the 1911 influence is very evident. There were many improvements including a mag release behind the trigger and the triangular handle, both to improve ergonomics. There were also some features that were quite advanced for the time, e.g., the lever that appears to be a safety is actually a decocker. It was considered a high quality pistol, especially for its time. After the Axis invaded Poland, the factory continued to produce firearms. The workers often stole parts and assembled pistols for the underground. They also made there way to the resistance by battlefield pickup from casualties and POWs. This one appears to have been produced in late 1942. 9mm Parabellum Price: $1,799.99 Chambers: 8+1 rounds Metal Condition: Good. There is wear along the sharp edges.
