Description:
Standard configuration SIG P49 late military pistol, single action, in 9mmP, with 4.75" barrel and drift adjustable front and rear sight. The left side of the slide and frame are proofed and marked with the full serial number that is repeated on the right side of the barrel hood. Safety detentes are marked with an "S" in white and "F" in red. "P" release marked on left side of trigger guard and discreetly applied import marking on base of frame where covered by the magazine floorplate. Disassembly shows a matching hammer group with the usual half cock. Fitted with checkered black plastic grips, integral escutcheons, secured with a single transverse screw. Fixed lanyard ring. Complete with two correct matte finish magazines. Original holster manufacturer marked and dated "60” on obverse surface, date of shoulder strap not discernable. Synopsis: Attractive, original, Swiss military SIG P49, all matching, matte finish rig with correct holster and strap. Condition: VG+ original finish with sharp edge wear and staining of the trigger as photographed. Comparable condition grips and correct matte finish magazines. Bright bore with sharp rifling. Perfect manual mechanics. Holster and strap VG, stitching showing no repair.
