Synopsis: Walther P38, AC 44, German Military Pistol, 4489h, FB01246 Description: Walther P38, German Military issue, made in 1944, all matching, with era correct magazine. SN: 4489h. Cal: 9mmP. Standard configuration P38 with 5” barrel, drift adjustable front sight and fixed rear sight. Single line address on the left side of slide that includes “ac” manufacturers code, the date “44” and the serial number. Safety positions marked with a white highlighted “S” and a red highlighted “F”. The right side of slide with the usual three acceptances. The full serial number is repeated on the left side of the plum frame, under the barrel and on the locking block. Fitted with the correct dark brown grips. Left side of magazine marked P38; bottom of magazine missing the plunger plate. Condition: VG/EXC bright original salt blue with sharp edge and holster wear that one would expect from light use. Slight fading of the frontstrap as photographed. Crisp original grips. Same condition applies to the magazine that, as previously mentioned, is missing the plunger plate. Mirror bore.
