Description: Yugoslavian ZASTAVA Model 57 7.62x25mm TOKAREV Semi-Automatic Pistol C&R Yugoslavian MILITARY PATTERN Semi-Auto Pistol Here we present a C&R Yugoslavian Zastava Model 57 Semi-Automatic Pistol manufactured by Zastava Arms in Zastava, Yugoslavia. The Zastava Model 57 pistol was the standard sidearm of the Yugoslav Army from 1957 to the country's collapse, produced by Zastava Arms. A licensed copy of the Soviet TT pistol, it is a single-action semi-automatic pistol chambered in 7.62x25mm Tokarev. Many surplus M57 handguns were imported for sale in other countries and subsequently modified to fit their import requirements and have become frequent collector's items due to their historical value. As of 2022, Zastava still produces modern reproductions of the M57 with updated safety features - the M57A in its original chambering and the M70A in 9mm. Zastava Arms was founded in 1853 when it cast its first cannon. It is the leading producer of firearms in Serbia and is a large contributor to the local defense industry. Zastava Arms produces and exports a wide variety of products to over forty countries, including the popular Zastava M70, a Kalashnikov rifle. The overall condition is fine. Original finish.
