Serial #35694, 7.65mm (.32 ACP), 3 3/8" barrel with a fair bore that has mild pitting along its length. This Ruby-style pistol retains about 70-75% of a later added black enamel finish, similar to British Suncorite, with flaking to the underlying gray metal on the balance, and silvering along the high and exposed edges. Additionally, an armory-added domed spacer was added to the left side of the slide to protect the safety while holstered, and the barrel number is not matching (the frame and slide do match). The markings, including the French acceptance stars on the butt, are still clear and legible, while the checkered walnut grips are in very good condition, having minor wear and handling marks throughout. The magazine fits and functions, but is a later replacement. These are seldom encountered secondary French military pistols, and this example rates about very good overall. FFL or C&R
