WW2 US&S .45 Auto with Sweetheart Grips

Description:
A nice example of a rare, and collectible Union Switch and Signal 1911, built in 1943. The gun is all matching, with the duralite finish intact. Stamped US Property. Features a pair of Sweetheart Grips, and authentic Tanker Holster. Caliber 45ACP, with 5" barrel. Sweetheart Grips were cut from the windows of fighter planes, and soldiers would place the photos of wives or girlfriends under them.
