Description: Synopsis: Wonderful, Mauser, P08 German Luger, 1938 dated, All Matching Description: Beautiful, factory original and all-matching Mauser military Luger, 1938 chamber date, S/42 code with factory matching magazine. SN: 4823d. Cal: 9mmP. Standard configuration military Luger with 4” barrel having drift adjustable front sight and fixed “V” notch rear sight. 1938 chamber date, middle toggle link marked with S/42 code. Full serial number with letter suffix on front of frame with the serial number repeated on left side of receiver. Usual Waffenamt acceptances on right side of receiver. All small parts matched to the last two digits of the SN including the firing pin, hold open, and each of the grips. Full matching SN surmounting Eagle/63 on magazine plug. Condition: Bright, excellent original salt blue, approximately 97%, with holster wear in expected places and early toning of straps. Comparable condition grips with some staining and a few minor losses. Mirror bright bore with very sharp rifling. Perfect manual mechanics.
