Mauser C96 Model 1930 Wartime Commercial **WWI German Military Acceptance Proof** Chambered in 30 Mauser
Description: Standard Wartime Commercial Mauser C96 Broomhandle pistol in original condition. Manufactured in approximately 1917 and shows a German Military acceptance proof. This mauser was produced for the domestic German market and then pressed into military service during Worl War I. It was most likely a GI bring-back following World War I or possibly World War II. The pistol retains most of its original blue finish with most of the wear on the bottom of the barrel. This is typical wear from being carried in the factory holster/stock. The bore is in good condition with bright sharp lands but frosted throughout the grooves. Most all of the bright iridescent fire blue on the trigger, safety lever and extractor are intact. The pistol is factory original, all matching and in perfect mechanical condition. The original 34 groove grips fit well, are solid and numbered with the last 3 digits of the serial number on the back of each panel. This is an extremely attractive example of the classic C96 Mauser Broomhandle that would make an excellent addition to any collection.
