Swiss Military 1900 Luger Pistol by DWM with Unaltered Rear Sight
Description: Serial #2901, 7.65mm Para. (.30 Luger), 4 3/4" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a very handsome, "Cross-in-Sunburst"-marked pistol that has all-matching numbers (including the grip panels), and retains 97-98% of the original blue on the metal. There is some mild silvering at the muzzle, and along a few of the high edges, projections, and bearing surfaces. The trigger, take-down lever, magazine release, safety, and ejector retain most of their original straw color, with the balance turned to a pale yellow-gray patina. The rear sight notch was never altered to a U-notch by Swiss armorers, and is still in the original V-notch configuration. The checkered walnut grips are in fine shape with some small handling marks here and there, some flattening of the points, and a single minuscule chip missing from the top of the left panel just above the magazine release. The pistol comes with a single, correct, wooden base magazine with metal inlays. This is a splendid Swiss-made Luger, in excellent condition, and would make a wonderful addition to any collection.
