Rare KU Luger

This is a vet returned piece and has never been in an or for sale The vet has passed and I came into possession of it This is a very rare and desirable  KU Luger  It is museum quality with only a trace of wear from the holster  it is an excellent example of the very well known and highly sought after Luftwaffe Inspected Ku marked Luger.  This is one of the approx 5000 that were produced with the Ku prefix and  suffix.  The pistol is completely matching to include the two  rare  matching  numbered plastic bottom fxo coded magazines .The grips are stamped correctly with large numbers on the inside and  even the takedown tool has the proper Krieghoff  markings . The  toggle is byf and is 41 dated  The bore is excellent and may be unfired .  This is a classic example of what collectors call the Ku Luger, with three Krieghoff  inspection stamps The bolt pin is unnumbered which is correct for Krieghoff This is a textbook example of a very rare luger in pristine condition 
The holster was made by Poessneck dated 1939 Poessneck stopped making holsters for the luger about this time and started to make them strictly  for the P 38 The remaining stock for the Lugers was turned over to Krieghoff This museum quality  piece is probably unfired  It was a vet bring back and has been stored for decades, absolutely  as it came back from  Europe In 99% condition
