Very nice example of a World War Two Mauser byf 42 Luger with a 1942 dated holster. This 1942 vintage pistol is all numbers matching, except the correct FXO Eagle over 37 and P.08 stamp magazines, which are/and were not numbered. The pistol retains 95% of its original blue finish, with most loss on the barrel, due to holster wear. The black bakelite grips (hence a "Black Widow" variation) fit welll, with minimal wear and no cracks or chips. The bore looks like new and the action functions the same. The 1942 dated holster is in excellent original condition, with strong stamps, sound stitching, and showing minimal use. Also comes with a correct Eagle over 655 samped takedown tool.
