German P 08 Artillery Luger Pistol by DWM with Holster and Stock 9MM

Description:
 This outstanding Artillery Luger is 9MM and 8 inch barrel with a bright excellent bore.The metal surfaces of this 1917 dated pistol retains about 92 % with light wear on high edges and contact points.  The strawed parts have toned to an even mix of straw and silvery patina, the ejector remaining the strongest. The sear spring very good mellowed blue.  The checkered beach grips are in very good condition with general light wear and both pannels are un-marked.  The DWM and Imperial German proofs are intact and the serial numbered parts are all matching including the un-groved firing pin.  The sight is graduated to 822 Meters.  Included is a dark brown leather holster in very good condition with some light handling marks, light wear on the top corners and flaking on the straps. The interior lid shows a partially odscured "STEINMITZ / BRESLAU / 1917" maker mark and date, and the Luger tool and cleaning rod are present in their pockets.  A walnut board stock, serial numbered to the gun and on the left side is a Crown Proof.  Also included is a bright bodied wood-base magazine not numbered to the gun. A fine ensemble for the Luger aficionado.
