Here we present a C&R Pre-World War I Dated German DWM (Deutsche Waffen-und Munitionsfabriken) Pistole Parabellum P.08 Military Luger Pistol, made in 1911 in Berlin, Germany. Basing his design off Hugo Borchardt’s seminal C93, Georg Luger successfully brought Borchardt’s work to practical and productive fruition. While finding buyers for the C93 seemed an exercise in futility, the new Luger Pistol found many countries eager to test it and even adopt it. There are many variations in this field of collecting, but relatively few major changes in overall design from beginning to end.

The overall condition is very good. No import markings. We believe that this was a bringback that the owner then had nickel plated as many have been. The action is excellent. The bore is shiny bright with sharp rifling. The grips are solid. Numbers match with the exception of the magazine base. Comes with a reproduction German leather military holster.
