SALE PENDING 07122023 - The serial number is actually A000006 but it is still the sixth LAR Grizzly produced. This is one of twenty such blank guns known to have been produced by LAR Manufacturing - primarily for the movie industry. This is a very interesting collector item. It is chambered in 45 ACP BLANK. The 45 BLANK caliber is stamped on the barrel and on the right side of the gun frame as noted in the listing photos. The magazine is stamped 45 ACP. This item can be converted to fire live ammunition by installing a regular LAR 45 ACP barrel or by installing a LAR caliber conversion kit. Since I bought it, I have not made any changes to this pistol. I have never attempted to shoot any of the blanks that came with it when I purchased it. The gun and conversion kit have been stored in my gun safe. I am now moving these items on to the next owner. The gun and 357 magnum conversion kit are like new. The original foam clamshells for the box are provided. The outer box and documentation were not included when I bought the gun and therefore are not available.
