Markings: The left side of the slide is marked with the HK logo, “Mod. P9S”, “Heckler & Koch GMBH Oberndorf/Neckar / US.Pat.No.3.566.745 Made in W-Germany”, “105192” and an “Eagle over N” proof and "Antler" mark of the ULM proof house.. The left frame has S/N "105192” again, and the left side of the counterweight is marked “Sport”. The right side of the frame is marked with an “Eagle over N” and "Eagle over I" proof, an “KC” date code identifying proof date as of 1992 and an “Antler” mark indicating ULM proof house. The barrel (ejector port) is marked with S/N “105192” .
Barrel Length: 5.5” with Counterweight
Sights / Optics: The tall front sight and the rear Target sight are black. The Target rear sight is adjustable for windage and elevation and fastened into the slide by two stems.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The wooden Walnut grips are smooth and not checkered . The wood has no scratches and rates in about Excellent overall condition.
Type of Finish: The slide and frame have an attractive black matte phosphate finish. There are no scratches on the pistol, only the front edges of the barrel weight show some minor leather holster wear.

Original Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is polygonal. There is no erosion in the bore Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 98% of its metal finish. Overall, this handgun rates in about Good to Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The single / double action trigger pull is crisp. The safety blocks the firing pin when engaged, allowing the hammer to fall without firing the pistol. The decocker serves to cock or un-cock the hammer as well as functioning as a slide release when fully depressed.
