Manufactured in 1992 in West Germany, this semi-automatic pistol features a 4.13-inch barrel, a 10-round magazine capacity, and retains 99% of its original nickel finish. The bore is clear with sharp rifling, and the action is smooth and strong with a crisp trigger pull. The slide is marked with the model and caliber designation, along with the manufacturer’s name and proof marks. The original box is included, albeit with detached labels that remain in good condition. Additionally, this example comes with a custom walnut presentation case by Glenn Dean of Classic Chests. The case features an etched HK logo, the model, and the serial number on the lid, with a green velvet-lined interior expertly fitted for the pistol, an extra magazine, a cleaning rod, and a key. The P7 series originated as a response to the 1972 Munich Olympics massacre, leading to West Germany's demand for an advanced 9mm service pistol. The P7, alongside the SIG Sauer P225 (P6) and Walther P5, was adopted by German police forces. The P7 was later modified into the P7M13 with a double-stack magazine and, in 1991, redesigned to accommodate the .40 S&W cartridge as the P7M10. Production of the P7M10 lasted only four years, making it a highly desirable collector’s firearm. This example is in excellent overall condition, showing little evidence of use beyond careful storage and occasional handling. With its historical significance, innovative design, and limited production, this P7M10 is a prized addition for any serious collector. Whether admired for its engineering or displayed in its exquisite presentation case, this pistol is a standout example of H&K’s legendary craftsmanship. FLAT $50 S/H/I. 4%CREDIT CARD FEE APPLIES.
