"Serial number 1031. Made circa early 1900s. 7.63 caliber with 15 ½" barrel. This gun is in excellent condition with 99% of the original blue finish. The metal on the stock portion is also excellent with 85 of the original finish. The stock is excellent. This was the final version of the carbine and this gun was towards the end of production. This is a fantastic example due to the condition and originality. This exact gun is pictured on page 205 of the book THE BROOMHANDLE PISTOL 1896-1936 by Wayne R. Erickson and Charles E Pate. This gun at the time was in the T. Rees Day collection. This is truly a magnificent Piece!
