Synopsis: Unbelievable Presentation Series Whitney Wolverine, Near NIB, 27, PCA-192 Description: The Whitney Wolverine was an incredible, futuristic-looking pistol that was largely made between 1956-1958 in several different serial number series. Although the most easily recognizable variation is the nickled pistols, the holy grail for most collectors would be the small number of presentation pistols serialized between 1-37, set aside for friends and important commercial contacts. According to the Whitney Wolverine book by Taglienti only 28 of these presentation pistols were completed, this example #27, virtually new in matching box with complete set of literature to include instructions, cautionary label, and blank warranty card. The book/table are for educational viewing and not included in this lot. Condition: Near new with only a few minor box scuffs on the right side that do not break through the anodizing and a few tiny marks near bottom of frame near magazine release. Comparable condition grips and magazine. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics. Original paperwork and box with minor handling marks as one might expect after 75 years.
