Description:
Here we have a very nice Double Barrel Percussion Traveling Pistol in what seems to measure .44 caliber. A little research seems to indicate that most of these double barrel percussion pistols are Belgian made. This example has a brass frame with very detailed engraving. The wood grip has nicely cut checkering and is free of cracks or chips. Mechanics of the pistol are very good and everything works like it should. At this point the original finish of the barrels, trigger, trigger guard and hammers is impossible to know but over the years a warm patina has developed. This fine percussion pistol would not be considered a shooter but more of a conversation piece.
