** SOLD ** Pre-WW2 C.G. Haenel Suhl Schmeisser Model I .25 ACP Pistol w/ Capture Papers
Description: This is a very cool and scarce C.G. Haenel Schmeisser Model I .25 ACP pistol captured during WW2 and complete with the capture papers that were made-up in 1946. This little .25 ACP pistol was made by the famous C.G. Haenel firm post WW1 from 1920 to about 1926 when the Model II was introduced. C.G. Haenel wuld go on to make numerous weapons for Nazi Germany's military, everything from Luger magazines to the MP-44. This is a Heanel Schmeisser Model I pistol, first variation, with the hump at the rear of the slide where the rear sight is which was only made during early production. It is 100% original with a very nice factory gloss-blue finish with minimal wear/handling marks, and is 100% functional. All 3 of the major parts are serial numbered and matching, the barrel, slide, and frame. The factory grips are in excellent condition and the bore is excellent. These pistols are rarely seen on the market and it in such good condition, much less with original capture papers like this one. This little German pocket pistol would be a great addition to any collection and should be an excellent long-term investment given the scarcity of the gun and the very cool original capture paperwork. This is the 1st one we have had that I know of, certainly the only one we have had in the last 15 years at least.
