ALKARTASUNA Spanish RUBY Style 7.65mm Caliber SEMI-AUTOMATIC Pistol C&R
WORLD WAR I Era FRENCH MILITARY Pistol
Description: ALKARTASUNA Spanish RUBY Style 7.65mm Caliber SEMI-AUTOMATIC Pistol C&R WORLD WAR I Era FRENCH MILITARY Pistol Here we present a C&R Alkartasuna Fabrica De Armas Spanish Ruby Style Pistol manufactured circa 1918 in Guernica, Spain chambered in 7.65mm. This company began producing pistols during World War I to help Gabilondo y Urresti supply sidearms to the French. After hostilities ceased, they continued to produce firearms under their own name. They produced a number of variations in both 6.35mm and 7.65mm marked "Alkar". The Alkartasuna factory burned down in 1920 and by 1922 business had totally ceased. As mentioned, these were made around the World War I era as military sidearms. Many were brought back to the US after the Great War or even World War II. The trade names on these Eibar-type pistols are a virtually bottomless well. At least 45 different small companies made these pistols, sometimes marked with a company name and sometimes with names like “Liberty”, “Destroyer”, “Venus”, “Modelo 1916”, “Trust”, and others. In addition to French sales, many were also sold to the Italian Army, as that country struggled to keep up with domestic production of military pistols. The overall condition is good. Original brown patina. Robust action. bright bore. Sharp markings throughout. Both grips are in good shape with nice checkering. This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Barrel length is 3-1/2 inches. Caliber: 7.65mm (.32 ACP) Overall condition as seen in photos. Very Fast. Very Safe. FREE SHIPPING. Will need to be sent to your local FFL or C&R licensee. This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. ancestryguns $1050 #228356 SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes |
