Description:
Standard configuration SIG P49, single action pistol in 9mmP, with 4.75” barrel, drift adjustable front and rear sight, and flat, checkered slide release. The left side of the slide and frame are proofed and marked with the full serial number that is repeated on the right side of the barrel hood. Safety detentes are marked with an “S” in white and “F” in red. “P” release marked on front of the trigger guard and discretely applied import marking on base of frame. Disassembly shows a matching hammer assembly with the usual half cock. Fitted with checkered black plastic grips, separate escutcheons, secured with a single transfer screw. Fixed lanyard ring. Complete with an early, high polish magazine. Leather military holster with battle-ready stud, dated “53”, fitted with commercial strap. Synopsis: SIG, P49, Transitional, Swiss Military, Holster, A110594, I-208 Condition: VG-EXC original condition with sharp edge wear as befitting a service pistol that has seen light-moderate use. Crisp grips. Bright bore and perfect manual mechanics. G-VG tan holster and strap with intact stitching.
