1st Generation Glock 17 Pencil Barrel Bullet Box AF Prefix
Description:
Early rare Glock 17 from the very first run of Glocks in the US. The AF prefix was the first run imported to the US in 1986 other than prototypes sent for ATF approval. Prior guns were manufactured without serial number plates on the frame as they were intended for the European market (AA to AE prefixes). This highly collectible model includes all original parts as well as the serial matched bullet box. According to glockhistory, this is the only run that featured labels on the Tupperware lid as it was then moved to the side of the box--very cool to have one still intact and clear. Also includes one original mag (the back is cracked) and a cleaning kit that I do not believe is original to the gun as it's not a Glock style rod. The Tupperware does feature 18 individual bullet holders on the inside which was a feature only up until the C-block of guns. Even more rare, the barrel is a "pencil barrel" featuring thinner side walls and a smaller outside diameter from all later Glocks (the barrel was changed with the AN prefix).
