The XDM-45 5.25” competition pistol had the same capacity as the G41 but has now been discontinued as well. The idea behind the G41’s existence was that the G21 model was sold on being smaller in overall length than a Model 1911. For example, the G21 has a 4.61-inch-long barrel versus the 1911’s 5” barrel. Plate #2 will fit the Trijicon RMR, Holosun 507C, and any current Swampfox red dot sight. Plate #3 works with the C-More red dots, as well as the Sig Sauer Romeo 3 and the Vortex Razor. Finally, Plate #4 is intended for use with the Leupold Delta Point optic. This is a brand-new Generation 4 Glock G41 MOS version. The Glock 41 was originally introduced in 2014. One notable advantage of the G41 over most if not of its competitors is its high magazine capacity. The pistol holds 13 rounds in the mag plus one in the chamber, except for those intended for sale in states which restrict magazine capacity, which hold 10 rounds plus one. Most manufacturers prefer to manufacture just one magazine for their 45s, the 10-rounder, so it can be sold in all states. The only other non-boutique pistols which carry a higher capacity of .45 cartridges are the FNX-45, the new FN545T, and the Para Ordnance P14-45, the latter of which has been out of production for years. The XDM-45 5.25” competition pistol had the same capacity as the G41 but has now been discontinued as well.
